What to expect
To support the company’s clients' financial departments in their transformation projects, you will intervene on:
- The organization, framing and management of finance and accounting transformation projects.
- Accounting projects interface as project owner support.
- Drafting and presenting projects functional specifications.
- Steering and managing the relationship between entities and the Group.
- Client’s workshops for optimizing processes.
You will also actively contribute to the development of the company in Portugal:
- Client presentations.
- Responses to calls for tender.
- Development of offers.
- Writing articles.
- Participation in conferences.
Your profile
- At least 5 years’ experience in a bank, consulting firm or financial institution.
- Fluent in English both orally and in writing (French is a plus).
- Active involvement in projects within financial departments throughout your career. Good understanding of their issues (accounting, management control, reporting...).
- You have a strong command of project management in MOA.
- You are able to define the data flows required to feed the Finance's consolidation systems in accordance with the architecture principles of the group's Finance IS.
- You are familiar with the procedures for opening and closing accounts, processing transacations, and resolving customer issues.
- You have knowledge of the life cycle of retail banking operations.
- Understand and formalize the processing procedures for operations managed by Business Operations Systems.
- Comfortable with new technologies.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Curious and motivated, recognized for your adaptability, rigor, proactivity, and ability to work in a team.
- Experience as head of accounting project managager (in banking area) is a plus.
